What is Star Rating?    ©

Each property listed for auction on geewizauctions.com will display what are described as Mandatory documents, such as the Current Title Search, Contract of Sale For House and Land and other required documents.

Sellers also have the opportunity to show Optional disclosure documents. Depending on the number of Optional documents the seller is prepared to display, properties can potentially receive a 5 star Integrity Rating. These red stars are displayed on the property search list and each individual property page.

Thedefinition of Integrity Ratings (represented by stars) is that they

“Support the spread of good quality, accurately represented disclosures. This enables every viewer to easily rate the merits of each property.”

Whether the disclosures are complimentary or otherwise makes no difference, it is the quality and accuracy that counts.

In some cases not all of these disclosures are applicable, for instance, for vacant land many of them would not apply. In these cases stars are automatically awarded.

Bidders and Buyers are advised not to rely solely on these disclosures but to carry out due diligence.
